Island-wide Ketchikan power outage

The Ketchikan Public Utilities company announced shortly before 1:45 p.m., Monday that power is out across the island.
Few details were immediately available, but in a brief Facebook post the company wrote that crews are responding. The company didn’t state a source of the outage, and said they don’t know when it will be restored.
