Inmate dies in Anchorage after apparent suicide attempt

ANCHORAGE, Alaska — An Alaska Department of Corrections inmate has died following an apparent suicide attempt.
This is the 10th inmate death in custody this year.
Kristoffer Reuer, 37, died Monday afternoon at Alaska Regional Center in Anchorage, a department news release said.
He was found unresponsive in his cell in Anchorage on Friday.
