Houston HS raises the stakes on the softball field

The Houston Hawks are fielding their own dreams– one at a time.
But, this season will provide a greater challenge, as they’ve moved up to the varsity level in the Northern Lights Conference. That comes with challenges for a young program.
“They don’t have a strong youth program coming up into the high schools, so, a lot of things they’re learning now, it’s the first time they’ve learned it,” said first year head coach Brian Mitchell.
