Hiker dies of heart attack on Flat Top

A tourist died Sunday afternoon after suffering a heart attack while hiking Flat Top Mountain.
Alaska State Troopers received the report just after 4 p.m. Sunday and Anchorage Fire, Life-Med and a State Park Ranger responded to the trail head.
Troopers say 70-year-old David Irwin, of Georgia, had a heart attack and died.
Irwin’s body was taken to the State Medical Examiner’s Office.
