High winds in the forecast for southcentral, southeast Alaska

Strong winds are in the forecast for southcentral and southeast Alaska over the next couple of days.
In Southcentral, northerly winds will begin increasing Thursday evening, peaking sometime Friday. A high wind warning goes into effect Thursday evening for Thompson Pass, Valdez and the Copper River Basin.
