Helicopter crashes in Hatcher Pass during training flight

Authorities with the Alaska State Troopers, Alaska Wildlife Troopers and the State Park Rangers responded to the report of a downed helicopter Sunday in the Hatcher Pass area.
Crews were notified of the incident around shortly after 11 a.m. Sunday, according to a release from troopers.
