Governor adds opioid bill to special session agenda

Less than a week after Governor Bill Walker called legislators into a second special session to pass a budget to avoid the state’s first-ever government shutdown, a second item has been added to the agenda.
Thursday morning, the governor amended the Second Special Session Proclamation so the House of Representatives could concur on House Bill 149, the governor’s bill to combat the opioid epidemic.
