General aviation opposes Trump’s air traffic control plan
ANCHORAGE, Alaska (AP) – President Donald Trump announced he wants to privatize the Federal Aviation Administration’s air traffic control operations, in part to speed up modernization, by shifting air traffic control away from the FAA into a nonprofit corporation supported by fees.
Alaska Public Media reported Wednesday while most major airlines are on board with the plan, the general aviation industry is not.
