From coding to aerodynamics: UAA hosts summer engineering youth academies
UAA has summer engineering academies for kids to learn about science, technology, engineering and math during their summer break.
The program’s director, Dr. Scott Hamel, says engineers do more than build bridges and make roads; they solve problems. In the various academies, kids are given one problem each week, then they get creative and learn how to solve it.
