Fisher House Foundation breaks ground on second JBER facility

Military and veteran family members will soon have a new and free place to stay on JBER while their loved ones undergo medical treatment.
On Tuesday, the Fisher House Foundation broke ground on a two-story, 16-bed facility.
The idea is to create a lifeline for families, as nearby long-term lodging can be an expensive obstacle during an already difficult time.
The new facility will be the second of its kind at JBER. The foundation says there is a definite need.
