First retail marijuana shop in Anchorage opens Thursday

Retail marijuana will hit store shelves in Anchorage for the first time on Thursday.
Arctic Herbery at 7107 Arctic Boulevard will open its doors at noon. Owner Bryant Thorp said he’ll have about 11 pounds of product to sell and hopes that will last him through the first few days of business.
