Final Mat-Su Borough unofficial results are in, awaiting certification

The final tally for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough election is in, although the ballots are still awaiting certification.
Based on the unofficial results, Assembly member Jim Sykes will keep his seat, beating out Brian Endle by more than 100 votes.
School board member Ray Michaelson was voted into the District 2 seat for the Matanuska-Susitna Borough School District. He won out against Susan Pougher with a lead of just 66 votes.
All other candidates ran unopposed.
Thousands turned out on ele
