Fairbanks school district ordered to pay $88K to former superintendent

An arbitrator has sided with a former Fairbanks North Star Borough School District superintendent was fired in 2014 for incompetence.
The Fairbanks Daily News Miner reports that according to a Sept. 14 arbitration opinion, the school district has been ordered to pay former superintendent Pete Lewis $88,205 in damages for firing him.
