Eagle River blaze displaces 3, injures 1 firefighter

Three Eagle River residents were displaced and a firefighter was injured when a duplex burned in an early-Tuesday morning fire.
The Anchorage Fire Department received several emergency calls reporting the back deck of the duplex, located at the 11000 block of Dawn Street, was on fire at 3:33 a.m. The witnesses also told emergency responders the building’s residents were evacuating the building, according to AFD.
