Downtown shooting prompts gas leak

Shots fired in a downtown Anchorage duplex penetrated a gas line in a neighboring residence.
Around 12:30 Wednesday, officers responded to the 1300 block of P Street after a resident reported bullets had coming into their home through the ceiling from the apartment upstairs.
Meanwhile, ENSTAR gas employees were called to the home next door after the resident began smelling gas. When the gas employees pulled the stove away from the wall, it was discovered that a bullet had penetrated the gas line
