Coast Guard searching for missing commuter plane in Southwest Alaska

The U.S. Coast Guard is actively searching for a commuter plane operated by Grant Aviation which has apparently gone missing in remote Southwest Alaska.
The plane was headed from the small community of Port Heiden to Perryville when an emergency locator transmitter (ELT) went off, according to Clint Johnson, Alaska region chief for the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
