Chugach Optional School ‘ransacked’ overnight, school officials say

A number of people came to help clean up the mess left behind Saturday after someone broke into and ransacked Chugach Optional School overnight.
Anchorage School District spokeswoman Heidi Embley said a teacher discovered a man inside the school around 9:30 a.m. Saturday. The teacher called police and they apprehended the man outside the building.
Further exploration of the school building revealed some of what the man had been doing inside. Embley said he came in through a window in a classroom
