Buckets still available for Anchorage compost program

A new recycling program run by the Municipality of Anchorage has room for a few more people who would like to trade in their table scraps for compost.
On Sunday, volunteers with the Anchorage Community Compost program handed out hundreds of buckets at the Central Transfer Station to people who are interested in recycling food scrap waste in exchange for a bucket of compost.
