Blimp catches fire, crashes at U.S. Open
The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash at the U.S. Open, where a blimp crashed to the ground after apparently catching fire.
At least one person is injured, officials said.
Witnesses reported seeing the blimp catch fire and crew members parachuting out.
Jeff Alstadter, a spokesman for the U.S. Golf Association (USGA) tells CBS News officials were still gathering information about the crash.
