Bean’s Cafe fundraiser will highlight local soup recipes

Bean’s Cafe is hosting its Empty Bowl Project again this year. The fundraiser showcases soup recipes submitted by local residents. The only caveat is that the soup recipe has to include dried beans. Executive director Lisa Sauder says they’ll get between 25 to 30 submissions, and more than 1,200 people will attend the various events.
