Bean’s Cafe client-turned-volunteer helps serve Thanksgiving dinner

The dining room at Bean’s Café quickly filled up Thanksgiving morning with people eager for turkey and all the trimmings.
Feeding more than 1,000 homeless clients took more than 160 volunteers.
“We have turkey, we have salad, we have fruit,” said volunteer Daniel Garcia.
He has a lot to be thankful for; Thursday is also his 36th birthday.
