Avalanche near downtown Juneau captured on camera

An avalanche near downtown Juneau was captured on camera.
Carole Triem said she was leaving the pool around 6:30 a.m. when she said she heard a noise that sounded like thunder.
“I thought that was strange because that doesn’t happen here. I looked up and there was an avalanche just starting,” Triem explained.
She posted the video to Facebook and within three hours it had been viewed more than 27,000 times.
