AST: Second man involved in Hatcher Pass assault, theft arrested

Another man has been arrested by the agency’s Special Crimes Investigation Unit (SCIU) for the assault and kidnapping of two men in the Valley. The incident was reported to Alaska State Troopers on Oct. 27.
In an online release, troopers say on Wednesday their investigators identified 26-year-old Anchorage resident Corey S. Sylva as part of the crime, where the two alleged victims were left injured on the Palmer side of Hatcher Pass.
