Assembly proposal would ban RVs from camping in store parking lots

The Anchorage Assembly is taking a look at a proposal to ban RVs from spending the night in store parking lots.
Assemblyman Eric Croft planned to introduce the ordinance to ban overnight camping in commercial lots at Tuesday night’s Assembly meeting.
It’s not the first time the issue has come up. Assembly member Elvi Gray-Jackson proposed and then dropped a similar ordinance last year after she received an unusually negative reaction from the public.
