ASAA March Madness: 1A, 2A state basketball champions crowned

Two teams have been crowned Alaska School Activites Association (ASAA) March Madness state basketball champions at the 1A level, and two at the 2A level. 
Led by 1A girls player of the year Kiah Charlie, the Scammon Bay Eagles topped the Selawik Wolves 71 to 35, securing a perfect season and back-to-back state championships.  Charlie led Scammon Bay with a game high 22 points, as well as 6 assists.
