APD: Armed suspect taken into custody after reportedly threatening wife

Anchorage police officers, negotiators and SWAT team members responded to a report of an armed man who barricaded himself inside an East Anchorage home Thursday shortly after 6 a.m.
Jamie Lee Jacko, 41, walked out of the house and was taken into custody at 10:25 a.m., according to an updated release from police. He is charged with third-degree assault and will be taken to the Anchorage jail.
