Anchorage library looks to public to finish major project

The Loussac Library could use some help finishing up a major remodeling project. Work is on-going to build a new facade and entrance for the Anchorage library.
Library director Mary Jo Torgeson said at $16,000,000 phase one of the project is fully funded. But what’s not in the budget are things the library director calls “finishing touches,” like new furniture. Torgeson said many of the current furnishings have been around since the library was built.
