Anchorage Assembly approves $58 million ASD bond for April ballot

Tuesday night, the Anchorage Assembly approved an Anchorage School District (ASD) bond package to go on the ballot in April.
In 2016, voters surprised the district, choosing not to approve a roughly $50 million bond package by about 250 votes. This time around, ASD is asking for even more — $58.45 million.
