Alyeska Resort to open Thanksgiving Day

While Anchorage doesn’t have much snow, the staff of Alyeska Resort in Girdwood say the ski area will have plenty in time for its traditional Thanksgiving Day opening.
Skiers, however, won’t have many options when it comes to where they will be allowed to ride. Alyeska Resort plans to only have two runs operating on opening day.
