Alaska Weather Forecast – March 7, 2017

The temperature dropped to negative 8 degrees at the Anchorage airport this morning, which is the coldest March temperature since March 10, 1999! That’s nowhere near the daily record of negative 24 degrees, but still pretty impressive.
Temperatures throughout other parts of the bowl were even colder, with Merrill Field dipping to negative 13 degrees. Temperatures this afternoon will rebound into the teens thanks to sunny skies.
