Alaska teens recognized by military organization

Two Alaska teens are being recognized for their community involvement. Operation Homefront selected the teens as semifinalists for 2017 Military Child of the Year.
Erin McLeod, 17, is representing her U.S. Air Force family in Anchorage. 17-year-old
Rachel Winburn, of Ketchikan, is her representing her U.S. Coast Guard family.
The two teens are among 90 semifinalists, narrowed down from 400.
