Alaska State Fair institutes ‘smoke-free’ policy
For 80 years, The Alaska State Fair has been operating without prohibiting smoking on fair grounds. This year’s fair, which opened yesterday in Palmer, is changing its policy on smoking.
Following a policy update in January, smoking is not permitted anywhere within the fences of the fairgrounds property.
