Alaska Dept. of Education and Early Development seeks feedback

The Alaska Department of Education and Early Development wants Alaskan’s thoughts on the state plan to implement the Every Student Succeeds Act, the new federal education law that replaced No Child Left Behind.
States must submit plans to the U.S. Department of Education by Sept. 18, to show how they will implement the new law.
The Alaska Education Department will gather public comment on the draft through July 31.
