Alaska Cat Adoption Team awarded national grant

Self-proclaimed “crazy cat lady” Linda von Bose said it normal to find 30 or more cats temporarily living in her Peters Creek home.
She’s the president of the Alaska Cat Adoption Team, known as ACAT.
“We’re those people when a cat runs across the road or you see it on the side in a ditch, we’re like, ‘oh my gosh it’s a cat. Stop the car,’” von Bose said.
She said most of the cats the team rescues have never been touched by people.&
