A mountaineering first: Climbing Mt. Huntington’s south ridge
In mid-April two climbers made mountaineering history by being the first to ascend the south ridge of Mount Huntington, which is located roughly eight miles south-southeast of Denali. It took them seven days, though they had only prepared for five.
