5 new AST K-9 teams hit the streets

Alaska State Troopers are about to have more specially-trained troopers on the job.
Five teams of K-9 cops and their partners graduated Friday and are certified to better detect drugs.
The graduations are part of the governor’s “Safer Alaska” initiative.
