10-year-old found on highway identified

Anchorage Police says the 10-year-old found on the Seward Highway has been identified and the family has been contacted.
In a Nixle alert sent out Wednesday afternoon, APD said they responded to the Old Seward Highway, near Huffman Road at 2:52 p.m., regarding a child in traffic. When police arrived, they said they were unable to get the boy out of the roadway into a police car. He was combative and non-verbal, according the Nixle report.
