1 charged with murder for Muldoon shooting death

A suspect in a Muldoon shooting that left one man dead and another injured turned himself in to Anchorage police Friday, Anchorage District Attorney Clint Campion confirmed. The Anchorage Correctional Complex said 23-year-old Christopher Birotte was booked around 4 p.m. Friday. He is charged with second-degree murder and second-degree assault.
Police said 19-year-old Tiwan Johnson Jr., and another man arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds early Tuesday morning. Johnson died later that day.
