Yorba Linda Verizon store robbed

YORBA LINDA  — A masked man stole cell phones and a undisclosed amount of cash Tuesday night, Oct. 17, from a Verizon store, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 8:10 p.m. at the store in the 21400 block of Yorba Linda Blvd., said Orange County Sheriff’s Department Lt. Matthew Stiverson.
Store employees reported a man entered the store with a white trash bag and told them he had a gun and knife.
However, the workers never saw any weapons, Stiverson said.
