Yorba Linda mansion smashes record with $9.8 million sale – but once asked $20 million

A hilltop Yorba Linda mansion that you can see from the 91 Freeway has sold for $9.8 million – breaking a city record but selling for 51 percent less than when it hit the market at $20 million five years ago.
The home had at least three price drops since then, seeking just under $17 milllion by 2017, according to the Multiple Listing Service.
