Yorba Linda man dies when plane crashes into Oceanside hillside

A Yorba Linda man was killed this week when the small aircraft he was flying in crashed into a hillside in San Diego County.
On the morning of Tuesday, Jan. 29, a passerby saw the downed plane on the side of a hill as fog cleared near the local airport, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
