Wrong-way Tustin freeway crash kills 1, injures 2 others

TUSTIN — A man was killed and two others were injured, including a suspected DUI driver, in a wrong-way crash on a Tustin freeway this morning.
The crash was reported just after 2 a.m. on the northbound 55 Freeway connector to the northbound5 Freeway, the California Highway Patrol reported. The victim died at the scene, the CHP said.
CHP Sgt. Todd Kovaletz told reporters at the scene officers saw the suspect driving the wrong way at speeds of at least 100 mph and attempted to stop him.
The
