Woman struck on 91 freeway in Corona; hit-and-run driver sought

A woman who pulled over on the 91 Freeway in Corona early Monday morning was struck by a passing vehicle, and California Highway Patrol officers were searching for the driver.
The crash, reported just after 2 a.m., was on the eastbound 91 at Green River Road.
Initial CHP reports indicate that the woman was out of her vehicle when a truck struck her and didn’t stop. It appears two drivers who knew each other had pulled over, because in one of the cars there were dogs jumping about.
