Expectations were higher than ever for a USC basketball team ranked in the top 10 of the Associated Press preseason poll. But that was before the Trojans lost four nonconference games.
USC remains talented so it might be good timing for the Trojans to start a new phase of the season and forget some of their nonconference struggles.
