With recent funding award, Brea will start 57/Lambert interchange fix

A project intended to ease congestion at the Lambert Road interchange on the 57 freeway should begin early next year, after the state pledged to provide much of the funding for the now $100 million project.
The city recently announced the state Transportation Commission has granted $65.7 million for the work. It will include widening lanes, improving and realigning ramps and creating a new loop on-ramp for northbound 57.
