With Orange County cases topping 1,000, are hospitals ready for projected coronavius peak?

Confirmed coronavirus cases in Orange County passed the 1,000-case mark on Wednesday, April 8, with 17 deaths reported from COVID-19, according to county health data.
After several days of 50 or fewer new cases detected daily, the 91 cases added since Tuesday was the largest one-day spike since April 1. However, the numbers of people reportedly hospitalized and those in intensive care were down slightly – hospitalizations as of Tuesday were the lowest they’ve been in a week.
