With Grant Joyce at the controls, Lasers’ scoring and passing has Italian flair

As the Irvine Valley College Athlete of the Week for Oct. 29, sophomore Grant Joyce was his typical self on the pitch for the Lasers’ men’s soccer team, scoring goals and setting up teammates with well-placed passing.
For Joyce, it’s nothing new. The Corona del Mar High product could probably be an athlete of the week every week, considering he has been hitting the back of the net and making crosses with success ever since he began playing the beautiful game in Italy.
