Witchford-based Nexus IE develops test equipment for medical device manufacturers

Nexus IE has designed and developed BIOFriC 1000 as a fully automated test system to measure the 'slipperiness' of coated catheters and guidewires for healthcare applications, and for use in R&D and manufacturing production environments. An integrated touchscreen allows operators to specify, store and recall the required test parameters.
