Winds will whip around in Southern California into the weekend

Strong winds will sweep through Southern California into Saturday, Dec. 29, according to the National Weather Service.
A wind advisory will remain in effect until 4 p.m. Saturday, with winds expected to whip through stretches in the Fontana, Crestline, Mission Viejo and Burbank areas. A separate advisory for Santa Clarita, Valencia,Woodland Hills, Northridge and Universal City was expected to end Friday afternoon.
