Wildomar fire is 60% contained; lower temps should help firefighters

WILDOMAR >> A blaze in the Cleveland National Forest near Wildomar that firefighters have been battling for three days has charred 850 acres, but is now considered 60 percent contained, authorities said Saturday morning, Oct. 28.
The fire, which began Thursday, prompted evacuation orders for about 200 homes in the area; residents were allowed back on Friday, Cal Fire/Riverside County Fire Department officials said.
